I’m Ebony, the baker behind the magic. Welcome to Sweet Sapodilla Bakery – a long overdue passion project. Let’s keep this short and sweet. I’ve always been obsessed with food. If there’s a reason to be in the kitchen, I’m there.

It all started back in Nassau, Bahamas, where little me would stand beside my grandfather, stirring a big pot of Peas Soup and Dumpling. That’s where I learned that food isn’t just about eating—it’s about love, culture, and tradition. Fast forward a bit and I found myself working both front and back of house in restaurants across South Florida, soaking up everything I could about the industry.

Baking, though? That started as a stress reliever during my busy seasons as an accountant. One batch of treats led to another, and before I knew it, I was hooked. So here we are…Sweet Sapodilla Bakery, where I mix skill with passion and every cake, pastry, and Bahamian dessert classic comes with a little piece of my heart.
